The Workfront Administrator & Fusion Developer leads the implementation, configuration, and enterprise adoption of Workfront and Fusion for DemandLab and its clients. Partnering with PMs, Technical Leads, and Client Success, this role owns the full lifecycle—requirements and governance through build, optimization, and support—covering portfolios / programs / groups, reporting and custom forms, workflow standards, automation, documentation, and integrations across marketing and sales systems.
Success requires superb organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving, with a client-first mindset and strong listening / critical thinking. The role defines and rolls out new functionality, drives cross-platform integrations (APIs / Fusion), and handles testing and troubleshooting. Approximately 85% of the time is billable to client work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Analysis & Process Mapping
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for marketing, creative, or operational workflows.
- Lead discovery sessions to understand current-state processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop future-state process maps and workflow documentation using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
- Translate business needs into scalable and optimized Workfront configurations and automations.
- Workfront System Administration
- Configure and maintain Workfront system settings, including custom forms, templates, projects, portfolios, access levels, teams, layout templates, groups and more.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workfront capabilities, updates, and best practices.
- Provide user support and training, acting as the primary liaison between Client business users and the Workfront platform.
- Perform system audits to ensure data integrity, process adherence, and user adoption.
- Manage request queues, approval processes, and routing logic to ensure smooth operational flows.
- Fusion Automation & Integration
- Design, build, and maintain Workfront Fusion scenarios to automate repetitive tasks, integrate with Workfront Planning and external systems (e.g., SnapLogic, Marketo etc.), and improve efficiency.
- Partner with platform teams to ensure secure and reliable integrations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Fusion scenarios to ensure consistent performance and minimal downtime.
- Maintain documentation of Fusion workflows, use cases, and change management logs.
- Workflow Routing & Optimization
- Design and optimize routing rules for tasks, approvals, and requests to ensure timely delivery and accountability.
- Ensure routing aligns with business needs, rules, SLAs, and team capacity.
- Collaborate with teams to adjust routing logic based on evolving business needs.
Working conditions
This role is specifically aligned to support the North America region clients. Minimum associates degree in business, engineering, marketing or related field3+ years of experience implementing and managing project management technology platforms. Must have direct knowledge and administrative experience in Workfront1+ years of Workfront Fusion experienceMust be Adobe Workfront Developer (Fusion) and Developer (Core) certified or able to complete within 30 days of joiningProficient in Adobe Suite, Salesforce, Google Suite, and Microsoft OfficeStrong understanding of Workfront architecture and admin toolsExperience in building and maintaining Fusion scenariosExpertise in business analysis and process documentationAbility to effectively translate technical requirements to business users and vice versaFamiliarity with workflow optimization and change managementSolid knowledge of project / resource planning methodologiesExperience in 3+ business settings using Workfront alongside marketing automation / CRM (Marketo and SFDC a plus)Experience with the Workfront Planning module is considered a plusKnowledge of marketing and experience in a consultancy is a plusBenefits
