Working in close collaboration with an international team, you will be working with product and project managers to ensure that the work is executed according to the project specifications and internal processes.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Technical project management and execution of electrical projects (electrical protection as well as excitation systems)
- Single Point of Contact for internal and external customers, suppliers and 3rd parties, interact with clients during project execution (technical clarification meetings, FATs, on-site works)
- Basic and Detail Engineering of technical project documentation such as protection SLDs, trip matrix, cabinet layouts, electrical protection software, schematics of protection, synchronization and excitation systems based on project specific requirement
- Perform functional and customer acceptances tests, installation supervision and on-site commissioning
- Responsibility for the implementation of regulatory requirements, standards and norms
- Support and cooperation with sales and bid management preparing technical concepts and descriptions, time schedules and cost calculations for offers
- Contribution to improvements and increasing competitiveness
What You Bring
Successfully completed university studies in the field of electrical engineeringKnowledge in electrical design (circuit diagrams, short-circuit calculations, etc.)Experience in the field of electrical protection technology, preferably generator protection throughout all project phases is desirable (experience with Siemens AG, ABB, Schneider, Efacec etc. protection relays is a plus)Background in electrical design (circuit diagrams, SLD, Short-Circuits, Power Flow)Basic knowledge of static or rotating excitation equipment or drive and converter technology is desirable is a plusKnowledge of electrical auxiliary power supply and operating modes (Hydro, Thermal, Industrial power plants)Willingness to participate in a specialized group in an international environmentWillingness to carry out commissioning activities on construction sitesWillingness to work abroad - up to 40% of the timeGood communication skillsFluent in English is mandatory, German is a plus
