On behalf of our prestigious client operating in the financial industry we are looking for a new colleague into the Strategic Project Director position.
The Strategic Project Director is responsible for leading, planning, and executing high-impact strategic initiatives across the group. This role involves collaborating with global senior leadership, including the group management and the subsidiaries' executives to ensure the successful delivery of projects through effective project management practices. The Strategic Project Director will provide essential day-to-day support to the Board, ensuring proper monitoring, follow-up, and execution of strategic initiatives. This position requires a visionary leader with strong project management and communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and drive change across the organization
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic projects that support the company’s and subsidiaries growth longterm;
- Prepare and craft comprehensive, visually compelling, and data-rich presentations, effectively communicate project statuses, strategic initiatives, key performance metrics, and risk assessments to senior leadership;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment;
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to key stakeholders;
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Experience & qualifications
College or university economics degree;10+ years of management advisory experience working with top leadership;Strong knowledge and experience in project management;Fluent in business English at a professional negotiation level;Advanced proficiency in MS PowerPoint;Structured and system-oriented thinking;Critical thinking and problem-solving skills;Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities;Experience in business negotiations.
