Then you are the Manager Procurement Engineering for Production Equipment our expanding Team in Cegléd is missing!As a Procurement Engineering Manager for Equipment, you will play a crucial role in the cost reduction to achieve an important value contribution to Infineon, improving the Business result. You will also be responsible to drive benchmark strategies and analyze the global procurement markets. Moreover, you will be in close contact with other departments in your contact system in Cegléd, in Warstein and Wuxi based on your daily activity.
In your new role you will :
- Initiate cost reduction measures in the equipment development process as well as in the optimization of specifications , ensuring standardization , modularization and the management of spare parts and resources (design for sourcing);
- Identify and implement the cost reduction potential through the application and further development of technical levels (such as cost analysis, value engineering or technical benchmarks);
- Analyze the Global Procurement markets and strive for forward-looking planning with regard to supplier selection and development with a focus on innovation potential (including the drafting of R&D supplier contracts in the context of FOAK projects);
- Actively support the new and further technical development of the supplier portfolio and equipment;
- Participate in the continuous improvement through interdisciplinary and cross-location cooperation (within the areas of R&D, Marketing, Logistics and Quality management).

You are best equipped for this task if you have :
A Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation or other relevant fields) or industrial related fields.At least 5 years of experience in Procurement or other similar technical departments (ideally in the semiconductor / electrical industry).Affinity with Economical topics would be an advantage.Knowledge of quality techniques ( SD methodology, APQP) and standards, such as IATF 16949 and VDAFluency in English and good command of Hungarian.
