Are you passionate about decarbonizing the power generation and industrial sectors? We are seeking a highly motivated expert Business Development Professional to join our team. You will be responsible for crafting the sales strategy and driving revenue growth of carbon-neutral solutions. Your day will be dynamic and filled with exciting challenges and opportunities to lead transformative projects and collaborate with various teams to achieve flawless execution.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Conducting market research to identify potential new business opportunities across the Eastern European region.
- Developing and implementing ambitious strategies to strengthen our financial performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop proposals and presentations for senior leadership, including the Head of Business Development for Eastern Europe, Business Area Sales, and Head of EE Sub Region.
- Leading the development of cross-business area projects related to energy infrastructure and the decarbonization process.
- Engaging teams horizontally to build a comprehensive market strategy.
- Supervising industry trends and changes across the Eastern Europe Region to determine potential new business opportunities.
- Providing periodic reporting to executive management and securing their support on critical initiatives.
- Growing and maintaining an active pipeline of projects with high forecasting accuracy in the CRM.
- Understanding client needs and identifying new business opportunities within the Siemens Energy portfolio.
- Keeping up with industry trends and applying standard methodologies to build effective business strategies.
- Reporting to the Business Development Head for the Eastern Europe Region.
- Traveling mainly within the region, with occasional trips to other locations based on market and business development opportunities.
What You Bring
A strong background in business development, sales execution, or strategy development.Proven experience in the energy industry, particularly in technological organizations, consulting, or sales portfolios within the sector.Highly motivated and proactive, with outstanding communication and presentation skills.Ability to build and maintain successful relationships with collaborators, lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including product lines, legal, finance, marketing, and engineering.Strong ability to analyze business situations, make informed decisions, and demonstrate analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment; a collaborative approach to navigating complex client relationships.Self-motivated with high interpersonal skills, including teamwork, negotiation, leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and presentation.Strong personal motivation to work for a groundbreaking industry and make an impact on the future of Europe’s decarbonization.Passionate about the energy sector and eager to become a Siemens Energy ambassador, crafting the best possible customer experience.Strong collaborator with solid management skills.Deep understanding of market trends, strategic considerations, and customer regulations.Analytical approach with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.Proficiency in English and in Hungarian is required
