Senior Banking Finance Specialist

Requirements Who we are looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Finance roles at banks, insurance companies or other financial institutions.
• Ability to navigate financials through the key controlling and finance reports (e.g. : BS, P&L, CF tables), particularly in the context of banking financials and regulatory reporting.
• Good level of understanding of the financial close, consolidation and reporting processes
• Good understanding of banking controlling functions, including budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and profitability analysis at various levels (branch, product, customer). Ability to perform variance analysis and provide insights on deviations from budget / forecast.
• Good understanding of banking products e.g. loans, cash management, factoring.
• Excellent data analytics skills, ability to work with databases and BI tools.
• Proven experience in participating accounting and finance processes within financial institution environment, ensuring compliance with IFRS and banking regulatory standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in engaging with senior management, and C-level stakeholders.
• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with emphasis on banking.
• Fluency in both English and Hungarian is required.
