Requirements Who we are looking for
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Finance roles at banks, insurance companies or other financial institutions.
- Ability to navigate financials through the key controlling and finance reports (e.g. : BS, P&L, CF tables), particularly in the context of banking financials and regulatory reporting.
- Good level of understanding of the financial close, consolidation and reporting processes
- Good understanding of banking controlling functions, including budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and profitability analysis at various levels (branch, product, customer). Ability to perform variance analysis and provide insights on deviations from budget / forecast.
- Good understanding of banking products e.g. loans, cash management, factoring.
- Excellent data analytics skills, ability to work with databases and BI tools.
- Proven experience in participating accounting and finance processes within financial institution environment, ensuring compliance with IFRS and banking regulatory standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in engaging with senior management, and C-level stakeholders.
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with emphasis on banking.
- Fluency in both English and Hungarian is required.
It is an advantage if you have
Financial project management experience, especially in financial institute-related projects. Certifications such as PMP or Prince2 are a plus.Treasury or banking front office experience.Experience with system implementation from a finance SME perspective.Participated already in Continuous Improvement or BPR projects / initiatives.Big 4 consulting experience with financial institute clients.Finance qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, or CIMA.Experience with platforms such as Core Banking Systems, SAP, BlackLine, Power BI, or consolidation / planning solutions.Your future role As a Specialist in the CFO Services Team, you will support delivery of finance projects, leading workstreams, gathering and analyzing information and developing actionable recommendations to ensure successful delivery.
