Job descriptionBachelor’s degree qualification in Engineering or similar subject Minimum of 10 years’ experience within the construction industry, with strong project planning experience on industrial building construction projects, such as manufacturing facilities and / or gigafactories Strong working knowledge of Primavera, MS Project, and other relevant planning software Excellent communication skills in English The right to live and work in the EU
Linum Consult’s client is a global engineering services group. They are urgently looking to hire a Planning & Project Controls Manager for a gigafactory construction project on a day-rate, 9-month contract based in Hungary.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the overall planning / scheduling functions of the project, including the planning team, project management companies, and other stakeholders
- Developing and approving Master Programmes
- Managing the Master Programmes to ensure that updates and revisions to the implementation strategies are incorporated in the Master Programme updates and revisions
- Processing EOT claims, evaluating entitlement, preparing responses and counter delay claims where applicable
- Reviewing monthly progress reports from contractors & subcontractors and providing feedback to higher management
- Reviewing tender documentation to ensure that planning requirements are incorporated
