Compile and deliver detailed monthly financial management reports.Conduct profit and loss analyses, highlighting key variances, while monitoring both operating and capital expenditures.Work closely with the Record-to-Report team to validate the accuracy of reported financial results.Oversee closing activities at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end to ensure timely and accurate completion.Maintain the consistency and reliability of the company’s chart of accounts.Collaborate with FP&A teams during annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises.Enforce and maintain adherence to established accounting standards and internal policies.Drive the use of unified templates, terminology, and reporting practices across all business units in the region.Prepare all necessary schedules and supporting documents for internal, statutory, and group-level audits.Spot areas where reporting can be streamlined and lead initiatives to optimize related processes.Support cash flow planning and assess working capital requirements.Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and assist in implementing corrective actions when needed.Champion the alignment and continuous improvement of financial close and reporting procedures.Our partner, who is the Hungarian subsidiary of a large international company is looking for experienced senior Controllers to join their team!
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- A professional qualification (CPA, CIMA, ACCA) is strongly preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in controlling or a similar function.
