Job description

What you do

Development of new functionality in the Python-based ETL pipeline and maintenance and optimalization of the existing pipelines.
Plan capacity and sizing of the service components, proactive cloud component management as well as initiating planning and set up of new service components.
Coordinate the operations and maintenance of related software, complex server infrastructure and databases (Synapse, PowerBI, Local development)
Maintain service related documentation according with Allianz Technology standards
Monitoring and SLA Management
Document, maintain and optimize processes and configurations related to the environments
Coordinate with various stakeholders in development, architecture, rollout and operations teams as well as with customers for releases / upgrades / changes
Manage and support service related risk assessments and audit

What you bring

Preferably at least 5 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2 years of experience in data-oriented Python (Polars, Pandas, PySpark).

At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Azure and a solid understanding of cloud architecture and software as a service concepts.

Strong analytical skills and organizing abilities, demonstrating the ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.

Advanced English proficiency is a must, coupled with excellent communication skills.

High customer focus, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders

Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
