About this Position
As an Accountant you will perfom day-to-day and closing activities in cooperation with cross-functional departments, according to predefined deadlines with full ownership of their tasks and in compliance with the local regulations, Hungarian Acts, Henkel internal processes. In this position you will closely collaborate with the Chief Accountant and you will be responsible for :
What you´ll do
- Management of the EPR and environmental fee completely, from calculation to preparation of returns
- Preparecomplex general ledger postings
- Clearing of open items in accounts, GL account reconciliations
- Issue ad-hoc invoices based on the hungarian taxation rules
- Ensure the timely and accurate monthly accounting, closing and internal reporting in accordance with policies, closing schedule and company guidelines
- Coordinate GBS+ in Slovakia and Manila, in terms of Source-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash and Bank accounting related matters
- Cooperation with foreign partners, different departments
- Work with internal- / extrernal auditors, participation in preparation for audits
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports, analysis
- Actively identify, recommend and implement solutions in collaboration with management to continuously enhance operational processes
