Sales Supervisor – Istanbul Turkey

What will you be doing?

The role forms part of the Sport Medicine Division and is responsible for protecting and developing the market share of the Smith+Nephew Sports Medicine Business in line with company goals and strategies as well as being responsible for managing the relevant sales processes of existing and potential customers in direct and indirect channels.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Experience in implementing sales strategies and reporting on feedback and suggestions received from the field.
  • The ability to follow the developments in the market and the competitors and the ability to take an active role in taking and implementing the necessary actions in a timely manner by carrying out regular field and customer visits.
  • Knowledge of the Tender processes in hospitals as well as experience with technical support needs of customers and product promotions or demonstrations as well as planning, monitoring, and coordinating activities together with the distributor sales team.
  • The ability to determine customer’s needs, increase service quality and satisfaction, and resolving customer complaints

Successful candidates would need the following :

  • A University degree in Biomedical Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, Biological or Healthcare Sciences
  • In possession of a Sales Rep Certification in line with Medical Device Sales, Advertising and Promotion Regulation in Turkey
  • 5 years' experience working in the medical device industry
  • The ability to work in a complex, collaborative environment and matrix.
  • The ability to work under pressure to tight fixed deadlines maintaining attention to detail and constantly checking work.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Good MS Office applications knowledge
  • Fluent in Turkish and English
  • To hold a valid driver’s license
  • Flexible to travel domestic and international.
