About the Role
We are seeking passionate and qualified Social Care Workers to join residential and community-based care services across Ireland. This is an opportunity to make a real impact in people’s lives by supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental health needs, or challenging behaviours in a person-centred, empowering environment.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote independence, inclusion, and dignity, providing both practical and emotional support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support to service users in line with individual care plans
- Assist in developing life skills, social skills, and community integration
- Promote independence, participation, and positive behaviour management
- Liaise with families, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to multidisciplinary reviews
- Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and safeguarding procedures
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training
Requirements
Recognised qualification in Social Care (minimum Level 7) or a closely related field (Applied Social Studies, Psychology, Social Work, Disability Studies, etc.)Previous experience in a social care, residential, or community setting (1+ year preferred)Fluent English (written & spoken)Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skillsCompassionate and professional approach to supporting vulnerable individualsEU citizenship or valid work permit for Ireland (strict requirement)Salary & Benefits
