The Communication and Change Manager will be responsible for leading the communication team while supporting organizational changes at both strategic and operational levels . This role plays a crucial part in aligning parallel activities , ensuring effective internal messaging, and fostering a culture of stagility. The ideal candidate has strategic mind and capability of executing plans efficiently and proactively driving initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Communication Team : Provide direction, mentorship and support to the internal communication team with a supervision of Head of HR
Change Management Execution : Develop and implement change strategies that support organizational development which are aligned with business and HR strategy.
Active partner of the management to create a culture of change : This includes promoting an open mindset towards change, encouraging collaboration, and fostering a sense of ownership and shared responsibility.
Project Alignment : Identify and manage interdependencies across internal initiatives, ensuring the change awareness
Stakeholder Collaboration : Act as a bridge between HR, leadership, and teams to maintain alignment on key projects.
Operational Implementation : Drive action-oriented solutions to support smooth adaptation to change
Internal Communication : Ensure clear, consistent messaging across teams to enhance transparency and employee engagement.
Monitoring & Feedback : Evaluate communication effectiveness, adjust messaging, and improve change efforts continuously.

Key Competencies & Skills

Hands-on Leadership : Strong experience-based team management knowledge with a practical, proactive approach.

Change Management Expertise : Ability to apply change models (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter’s 8 Steps) effectively.

Excellent Communication Skills : Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities to engage diverse stakeholders.

Problem-Solving & Adaptability : Capacity to navigate uncertainty and drive solutions efficiently.

Project & Process Alignment : Capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Hands-on Project management : Being familiar with the IT project management characterises

Resilience & Execution : Ability to get things done —a results-oriented and action-driven mindset.

Cultural Awareness : Understanding of German and Hungarian corporate environments is advantageous.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication, Business Administration, Change Management, or related fields.

5+ years of experience in communication, change management, or related roles within corporate environments.

Proven experience in leading teams or managing direct reports in a professional setting

Experience in an IT-driven or multinational organization preferred.

Fluent in English and Hungarian, proficiency in German is a plus
