NIX, a global supplier of software engineering and IT outsourcing services, is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer in its office in Budapest (Vaci Greens, 13th district). You’ll be part of a team of professionals who are ready to find the best tailor-made IT solutions for their multinational clients in various industries and solve complex problems.

  • Experience in administering Linux / UNIX and Windows systems (practical experience is mandatory, at least two years).
  • Experience in configuring web servers and deploying applications, as well as supporting their operation.
  • Experience deploying environments in AWS or Azure clouds (manually or using Terraform, CloudFormation or ARM templates).
  • Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Practical experience in administering databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL or MSSQL).
  • Knowledge of CI / CD automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, or other CI / CD tools.
  • Experience writing scripts in Bash or PowerShell.
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in spoken English is mandatory.

    • WILL BE A PLUS :

  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Good understanding of web technologies and related principles.
  • Experience in automation using c or similar tools (Puppet, SaltStack or Chef).
  • Knowledge of the Python programming language is desirable.
  • Ability to work with Git and understanding of Git workflows.
  • Practical experience in configuring CI / CD pipelines for code build, deployment, and testing.
  • Experience deploying and managing microservices releases.
  • Experience in identifying and resolving issues in different environments.
