• Python, SQL, PySpark knowledge
• ETL concepts
• Data transformation using Python or Spark
• Data merging strategies (incremental load, SCD, snapshot, etc.)
• File formats / Schemas : Parquet, JSONSchema, Schema Registry, schema validation
• IaC / CI / CD : Terraform (Terragrunt), Git, GitLab
• Containerization : k8 or Docker
• Familiarity with REST APIs, experience with CRUD operations
• AWS Services : Previous experience with services related to data pipelines, Storage : S3,
• Processing : Glue, Lambda, EMR, Batch Databases : RDS (PostgreSQL), Redshift, DynamoDB, etc.
• Messaging : SNS / SQS API : API Gateway (resources, integrations)
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, etc.
• Analyzing pipeline logs, debugging
• Unit testing and data quality checks within pipeline steps
• Experience with streaming solutions (e.g. Kafka or Kinesis)
• Processing streamed data : Flink, Kinesis Data Analytics
