Job descriptionEnrolled in final year of your BSc, BA or MSc degrees with marine commercial operations, supply chain, logistics or economics degree Eligible to work in Hungary; work permit or student visa valid for at least 8 months. Full professional proficiency in English Intermediate skills competency in full Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Open minded approach, eager and capable of learning new skills Analytical skills and critical thinking, comfortable speaking with external counterparties often sitting in other countries Professional writing skills, good communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and in teams alike, be a self-starter Interesting work in an international environment Opportunity to receive a full-time job offer in case of a successful 6 months term internship Daily contact with international counterparties Opportunities for job specific and broader career development trainings Opportunities to develop experience in the organization Opportunities to enhance communication and language skills, job specific and broader trainings, mentoring, self-development opportunities, tuition assistance program supporting studies with business relevance
What you will do
- Primary point of contact for Vessel Owners and Customers filing marine claims to ExxonMobil
- Communicating claim receipt to Business Lines
- Validating correct supporting documents are included with claims
- Ensuring all claims are logged in our vessel management software
- Assigning claims to correct Marine Claims Analyst
- Assisting Management, Supervisors and Claims Advisors with periodic and ad-hoc reporting tasks
- Pull demurrage rates (weekly) for Pooled Vessels (via Worldscale / other)
- Process claims for payment for streamlined scenarios
