Job description4+ years of experience in software development / test automation. Experience in testing thick (fat) client desktop applications. Solid understanding of XML structure and processing. Proficiency in Python programming. Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Behave). Familiarity with Linux environments (Red Hat preferred). Competency in Git and GitHub. Understanding the test pyramid and enable the team to develop high quality testing on all levels. Understanding of software development processes and methodologies (especially Agile and Scrum). Experience in CI / CD. Fluency in English both spoken and written. Hybrid working with even only weekly 1-2 office days and flexible working hours based on core time. Our software solution, Crew management throughout an airline's network is a complex task involving pairing construction, duty assignments and crew tracking. In this business domain you will enjoy a complex experience of various technologies and mission-critical systems.
You will be responsible for
- Participating in implementation projects in a cross-functional team as being responsible for test development.
- Create and execute test automation scripts for functional testing.
- Understand the technical issues and concepts in applying test automation.
- Engage in all the activities of development lifecycle and proactively improve the QA strategy.
- Validate requirement / user stories from testing perspective.
- Intensive collaboration within the scrum teams and other parties involved.
