We're seeking a visionary and hands-on Software Engineering Manager to spearhead the development of one of our most strategic and impactful products : MetaDefender Secure Managed File Transfer (MFT) .

What You Will be Doing

As the Software Engineering Manager for MetaDefender Secure MFT, you'll be instrumental in :

  • Building a Brand New Product : Lead the charge in bringing a new, critical product to life, from concept to deployment. This is your chance to leave a lasting mark!
  • Leading and Mentoring a High-Impact Team : Build, lead, and inspire a full-stack engineering team dedicated to MetaDefender Secure MFT. You'll foster a culture of trust, continuous learning, and accountability, guiding your team members' career growth and development.
  • Driving Technical Vision : Guide the design and implementation of secure, scalable backend systems (C# / .NET) and cutting-edge frontend interfaces (React, Angular, or Vue), ensuring architectural excellence.
  • Shaping the Product Roadmap : Collaborate closely with global teams across Vietnam, the U.S., and beyond to define the product roadmap and execute key initiatives that will protect critical infrastructure.
  • Championing Excellence : Be a relentless advocate for software quality, performance, and usability, while continuously driving innovation across the entire technology stack.
  • Ensuring Robust Security : Instill a strong focus on secure architecture, compliance, and real-world reliability within your team, building solutions that our customers can truly depend on.
  • Staying Ahead of the Curve : Remain current with the latest trends in cybersecurity, secure coding practices, and enterprise software development to keep MetaDefender Secure MFT at the cutting edge.

What We Need from You

We're seeking a dynamic leader with a blend of technical prowess and exceptional people management skills.

  • Proven Leadership : Demonstrated experience in people management, with a passion for mentoring engineers and fostering their career growth. You know how to assess team productivity and ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Architectural Savvy : A deep understanding of system architecture, enterprise integration patterns, and secure development best practices.
  • Full-Stack Expertise : Strong hands-on experience across both backend (.NET / C#) and modern frontend technologies (React, Angular).
  • Security Domain Knowledge : Experience with secure file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS) and deploying robust solutions across Windows and Linux environments. Cybersecurity domain experience is a significant plus.
  • Agile & Customer-Focused : Familiarity with agile development methodologies, rapid release cycles, and a strong commitment to building customer-oriented solutions.
  • End-to-End Ownership : The ability to initiate, design, and implement technical features from conception to completion.
  • Best Practices Champion : Proven experience implementing software engineering industry best practices and a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, SCM, CI, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Strong Foundation : A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Exceptional Communicator : Excellent communication skills and fluent English are essential for collaborating with our global teams.
