Sourcing Assistant Manager (IT Category)

to join our team in Budapest!

The role :

This role will act as the primary point of contact for ELC stakeholders & strategic partners, responsible for managing actions and information flows associated with stakeholder requests and negotiations for 3rd party external expenditure. The position will seek and obtain decision / approvals required to drive procurement activities through to successful completion for the IT spend category. This role requires functional knowledge of the core vendor agreements and the ability to perform contract drafting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities :

  • Review strategic vendor agreements and revise as necessary to ensure ELC is maximizing benefits while minimizing financial expenditure / exposure. Recommend contract revisions to improve language and reduce gaps / inconsistencies.
  • Evaluate / negotiate vendor Contract Change Orders (CCO’s), Transaction Schedules and SOWs to ensure documents are in alignment with agreements and contract drafting is correct. Create associated approval packages.
  • Support managing vendor performance scorecards.
  • Support continuous improvement within the environment.
  • Monitor contract milestones, dates, deliverables in agreements to ensure vendor is meeting its contractual obligations.
  • Oversees the monthly Service Leadership Committee meetings (includes managing agenda with vendor and ensuring everything is documented properly for governance purposes).
  • Responsible for the supporting documentation associated with vendor governance meetings – includes analysis of Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Remediation Action Plans (RAP) as well as driving issue resolution.
  • Interpret statistics and obtain stakeholder feedback to support creation of vendor account status reports.
  • Oversee request demand inflow, evaluate requirements and assign to appropriate group.
  • Develop vendor account status reports, includes capture and collation of statistics and stakeholder feedback.

Oversee vendor tasks / deliverables are being met from a VMO perspective (e.g. documents are presented on time, outstanding credits are received), escalate to manager when necessary.

  • Manage the scheduling all VMO vendor governance meetings across the IT vendor landscape (200+ per year).
  • Provide support in driving Executive, Global & Regional Business Reviews (includes development and management of agenda and ensuring everything is documented properly for governance purposes).
  • Manage stakeholder escalations, resolve issues and implement stakeholder engagement processes and cadences.
  • Review and optimize daily operational processes and activities identifying ways to improve efficiencies and opportunities for automation.
  • Identify and engage with global suppliers that meet our criteria for pricing, quality, timeliness, and reliability. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, set clear terms and deadlines, maintain ongoing communication, manage performance, resolve disputes, and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Develop a solid understanding of regional contracts, supply agreement templates along with thorough understanding of legal concepts.
  • Maintaining agreements database, tracking contracts' expiry dates and assuring the extensions are signed in a due time.
  • Requirements :

  • 5 to 7 years' experience developing, implementing & managing IT Vendor performance, projects, and relationships.
  • Prior experience within a Procurement Operations Process.
  • Prior experience managing IT Vendors and IT Category Spend.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple vendor partners.
  • Ability to lead, influence & motivate staff & partners.
  • Expertise in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Service NOW.
  • Leadership and project management skills.
