Main Objectives
To manage the financial function on site through the implementation of financial controls, recording and reporting to ensure controls are maintained in all finance related functions / procedures relating to business on site / s in area of responsibility to mitigate risks.
Responsibilities
- To ensure asset management processes are implemented and maintained to
manage stock, accurately to prevent theft.
To manage all procedures relating to value chain, wages, debtors and creditors to prevent misappropriation of company funds.To ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial information throughcompilation of balance sheet reconciliations
To provide a cost management service to the management team in respect of deviation reporting along with waste elimination opportunities.Financial accounting including : -Initiating and maintaining of company procedures and policies relating to admin and financeManaging risk and taking corrective actionBudget preparation, monitoring, and variance reportingForecasting and financial projectionsEnsuring correctness / accuracy of financial dataPerform financial month-end up to trial balanceCompiling of all required reports within set deadlinesManage on-going functioning of IT infrastructureManaging Human ResourcesPrepare and assist with auditsEvaluate proposed capital projects and complete capex request
