Senior Java Engineer - Mission Control Team

Specifically, the Mission Control team is responsible for delivering and enhancing internal administrative functionality across our suite of products.

Our mission is to empower our internal users—including teams from Customer Support, Customer Experience, Engineering, Onboarding, and more—by providing them with an exceptional user experience within Mission Control.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Mission Control team and collaborate with other members of the Governance group, fostering a culture of partnership and innovation.

That said, prior experience in any of the following areas will be beneficial :

• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL and relational database principles
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools like GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience with Kafka or similar event-driven messaging technologies
• Cloud experience is a huge plus, especially with AWS or other major platforms (GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth and role-based access control (RBAC)
• Bonus points for expertise in system design, large-scale distributed systems, or performance optimization
