Responsibilities : JOB FUNCTION

Working in EMEA Supply Chain Planning department, reporting to the EMEA Supply Chain Planning Manager, the Supplies S&OP Planner is in charge of managing the availability of his / her product-portfolio, aligned with Supply Chain fundamentals(inventory, operational costs, supply & demand accuracy). Makes sure that supply and demand is balanced and exceptions are well managed.

ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIESAND AUTHORITY

  • Cooperates with WW planning team in supply planning for EMEA
  • Finalizes, analysis & presents the supply commit in S&OP meetings for all key stakeholders
  • Communicates supply constraints and excess (to Marketing, Sales and Backlog / demand monitoring teams) for constraint / excess management activities
  • Proactively proposes solutions for availability and inventory issues (air shipment, conversion, demand switch, geobalancing, etc)
  • Ensures end to end coordination on supply & demand improvement actions
  • Provides input to finance for revenue outlook
  • Provides input to manager, finance & other stakeholders on projected constraints
  • Follows up changes throughout the month and understand the impacts on business results
  • Analyses end of past month backorder (root causes & actions)
  • Understands the forecasting process and follows up any outliers (special deals, demand changes, product lifecycle changes)
  • Monitors closely the production and logistics for special deals and ensurestimely availability, cooperates with other teams to deliver on time in full
  • Supports inbound,emergencies, escalations & exceptions
  • Contributes to inventory outlook
  • Provides input to inventory manager and takes action to ensuretargets are reached
  • Drives actions to reduce slow moving andend of life products inventory
  • Ensures availability by announcement date for new product introductions
  • Contributes to inventory improvement action plans

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3 years in Supply Chain Management or Supply Chain Planning or degree in Supply Chain / International Business / Business Administration / Logistics

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS and TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Strong communication skills(oral / written)
  • Strong sense of ownership
  • Rigour and responsiveness
  • Analytical skills and data literacy
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Knowledge / experience of SNP, Kinaxis Maestro or other planning tool is an advantage
  • English Advanced Working proficiency level
