We are seeking a skilled and motivated Oracle Cloud Architect with a strong background in Oracle Database Administration and a growing interest or experience in Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) . This role supports the design, deployment, and management of Oracle workloads on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and ExaCC environments . The ideal candidate has hands-on DBA experience and is eager to expand into advanced Oracle cloud solutions.
What you will do :
- Design and support Oracle-based cloud architectures on OCI , including database, storage, compute, and networking components
- Assist in planning and executing migrations of Oracle databases and applications to Oracle Cloud and ExaCC
- Work closely with DBA and infrastructure teams to configure and support Exadata Cloud@Customer platforms
- Implement and maintain high availability, backup, and disaster recovery strategies for OCI and ExaCC environments
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Oracle databases running on OCI and ExaCC, ensuring performance, security, and reliability
- Develop and automate cloud infrastructure using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (., Terraform, Ansible)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions
- Document architecture, processes, and operational procedures for OCI and ExaCC platforms
- Stay current with Oracle Cloud and Exadata features and best practices; pursue training or certifications as needed
What you will bring :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience4–6 years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience, including RAC, ASM, RMAN, and Data Guard1–2 years of experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or similar platformsExposure to or interest in working with Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) solutionsWorking knowledge of Oracle Autonomous Database, DBaaS, and Exadata architectureFamiliarity with Linux environments and scripting (., Bash, Python)Strong SQL / PLSQL skills and performance troubleshooting abilitiesExcellent collaboration, documentation, and problem-solving skillsFluent communication in English and HungarianPreferred Qualifications :
Experience with Oracle Exadata (on-prem or cloud) is highly desirableOracle certifications such as OCI Architect Associate / Professional , Oracle DBA OCP , or Exadata Specialist are a plusFamiliarity with automation and orchestration tools (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins,Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, and cost optimization practicesExperience working in hybrid cloud or private cloud environmentsNote : Candidates without direct ExaCC experience but with strong foundational DBA and OCI knowledge—and a demonstrated willingness to learn—are encouraged to apply.
