Proficient in Python and SQL for large-scale data transformations of time series data Extensive experience with Databricks (Lakehouse Architecture), Azure cloud services, and Power BI Strong understanding of DataOps and DevOps principles Strong interest in data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical), ETL development, and data warehousing Full professional proficiency in English
Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain internal data platforms for scalable storage of energy sector data
- Architect and implement robust, scalable, and reliable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and integrate time series data from multiple sources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data models that support business analytics and forecasting
- Develop dashboards and visualisations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders
- Drive best practices for data quality, security, and performance optimisation
- Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering standards
